About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated RN for our Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) to provide care for patients ranging from minor injuries to critically ill cases. This role offers 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends , competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment with a supportive team.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ER RN experience
• Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license (must obtain Florida license prior to start if applicable)
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma
• BLS certification prior to employment
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (within 90 days of hire)
• ACLS certification (or ACLS Instructor) within 90 days
• PALS certification (or PALS Instructor) within 90 days

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in free-standing or fast-paced emergency care settings.
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages and acuity levels.
• Develop individualized care plans and identify expected patient outcomes.
• Manage multiple patients simultaneously, prioritizing care efficiently.
• Provide follow-up instructions and make appropriate referrals.
• Coordinate care with physicians, departments, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain patient safety and quality of care in all interactions.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
