About The Position
Free People is seeking a Summer Design Intern for their We The Free apparel design teams. Our We The Free collection is an in-house, heritage inspired collection of timeless staples - everything from your favorite jean to handcrafted leather goods. Untraditionally classic, rooted in menswear, vintage, and rock ‘n roll. The Summer Design Intern would assist the design team in the creative and operational processes of monthly apparel collections. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fashion design industry, working closely with experienced professionals and contributing to the development of innovative apparel designs. The Summer Internship Program at URBN Inc. is designed to immerse candidates from across the country within various teams across our portfolio of brands, allowing them to gain valuable learning experiences in their chosen area of business. Our paid internship program includes a summer full of intern-focused events, providing exposure to senior leadership across the business in small group settings, insights into company initiatives, off-site field trips, and for those who qualify, a chance to interview for a full-time job opportunity. The URBN 2025 Summer Internship Program will run from June 2 through August 8 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA, offering interns a comprehensive view of the fashion industry and the workings of a successful design team.
