About The Position

Honey Creek Commons AL is offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Class from October 20-31 at Springhill Village, located at 1001 E. Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, IN 47802. This ASC Nurse Aide Training Program is an excellent opportunity for individuals with no previous experience who are committed to providing compassionate care to residents. The program includes free classroom and hands-on training, allowing participants to become a CNA in just a few weeks. Upon completion of the training program and testing, graduates can find employment in any of ASC's 100 locations across Indiana, with additional pathways available for those looking to advance their nursing careers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming tasks.
• Helping residents during mealtimes, including transporting them to the dining room and assisting with eating and drinking.
• Repositioning and transferring residents from beds to wheelchairs or to toilets.
• Obtaining and recording resident vital signs, such as heart rate and blood pressure.
• Answering patient call lights and fulfilling requests.
• Building meaningful relationships with residents, providing care and companionship.
