About The Position

Eastgate Manor Nursing and Rehab is offering a free Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program designed for individuals with a caring spirit who wish to turn their compassion into a rewarding career. This program requires no previous experience and provides both classroom and hands-on training, allowing participants to become certified CNAs in just a few weeks. Upon completion of the training and testing, graduates can find employment in any of ASC's 100 locations across Indiana, with opportunities for career advancement in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming tasks.
• Helping residents during mealtimes, including transporting them to the dining room and assisting with eating and drinking.
• Repositioning and transferring residents between beds, wheelchairs, and toilets.
• Obtaining and recording resident vital signs such as heart rate and blood pressure.
• Answering patient call lights and fulfilling requests.
• Building meaningful relationships with residents, providing care and companionship.
