About The Position
Avamere at Ridgemont is excited to offer a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) class for individuals interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. This program is designed to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, a vital role in the healthcare system. The theory portion of the class will be conducted online via Zoom, taking place Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 1:20 PM. Participants will also complete clinical hours at our facility located in Port Orchard, WA, where they will gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment. Upon successful completion of the course, graduates are guaranteed employment at Avamere at Ridgemont, providing a seamless transition from training to professional practice. The facility will cover the testing fees for those who successfully complete the program, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder your path to becoming a CNA. All applicants must pass a background check to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents. This opportunity not only serves as a stepping stone to becoming a Nursing Assistant in the State of Washington but also paves the way for further advancement in the nursing field. After one year of full-time employment, Avamere offers tuition reimbursement for those wishing to pursue Nursing School, making this an excellent opportunity for career growth and development in healthcare.
