About The Position

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Fraud Research Analyst with a Secret Clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. The Fraud Research Analyst will play a crucial role in assisting the Government Fraud Prevention Managers (FPMs) by providing advanced analytical support. This role involves conducting thorough research on Passport cases, which includes gathering information from various sources such as applications, supporting documents, the internet, telephone calls, and government, commercial, and open-source databases. The analyst will perform detailed analyses on reports of investigation, review research conducted, and assess information received from multiple locations to identify potential fraudulent activities related to Passport cases. In addition to research and analysis, the Fraud Research Analyst will be responsible for writing clear and concise reports that summarize the information gathered during research. The role requires coordination and networking with Department of State (DOS) personnel, other government agencies, and coworkers to facilitate information sharing on Passport cases that involve fraud or potential criminal activity. The analyst will also perform analyses and develop written synopses on suspended cases to identify trends that may be useful in future research. Maintaining a working knowledge of various resources related to the eligibility requirements of Passport regulations and criminal statutes is essential. The position may require performing other duties as assigned to advance the fraud office's mission of supporting adjudication as it relates to Passport cases.
