About The Position

Frankenmuth River Place Shops is a German-themed outdoor shopping mall featuring more than 40 shops and attractions. It hosts more than 20 community events and festivals on an annual basis, with a mission to create enjoyable experiences for our guests. Some of which you would experience are: Funtown Chowdown Food Truck Festival, Dog Bowl, Balloons over Bavarian Inn, Cass River Colonial Encampment and more! Midway through the internship, the intern will take on responsibility for a full event, or ownership over a designated portion of an event and will continue to take on more solo roles during the balance of the internship period.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree
• Solid understanding of different marketing techniques and social media platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to take direction and multi-task
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to work untraditional hours including weekends, evenings and some holidays
• Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. as needed
