About The Position

As a Lead Framer at Michaels in Burlington, VT, you will lead and coach a team of framers focused on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for their art. You will drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions. Your role will involve assisting the Store Manager in managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies. You will develop and coach the team on selling behaviors, deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time, and manage the framing team to achieve their KPIs. Additionally, you will oversee inventory management processes, execute shrink and safety programs, and serve as Manager on Duty (MOD). You will also participate in the hiring, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members, while promoting a positive work environment and commitment to the organization’s vision and values.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and create framing solutions.

  • Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
  • Achieve personal and team KPIs.
  • Manage and execute inventory management processes.
  • Execute shrink and safety programs.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
  • Participate in performance management activities of the team.
  • Promote a positive image and serve as a role model for others.
  • Participate in truck unload and stocking processes.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure a safe environment.
  • Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes.
