About The Position

As a Lead Framer at Michaels in Boise, ID, you will lead and coach a team of framers focused on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for their art. You will drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions. Your role will involve assisting the Store Manager in managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies. You will develop and coach the team on selling behaviors, deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time, and manage the framing team to achieve their KPIs. Additionally, you will be responsible for inventory management, shrink and safety programs, and serving as Manager on Duty (MOD). You will also participate in the hiring and training of new team members and support talent development activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
• Develop and coach the team on selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time.
• Achieve personal and team KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload and build plans for networking.
• Manage and execute inventory management processes.
• Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
• Participate in performance management activities of the team.
• Partner with MODs daily on framing expectations.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes.
• Follow SOPs and ensure a safe environment.
• Acknowledge customers and provide solutions.
