The Lead Framer at Michaels will lead and coach a team of framers who focus on building customer relationships while creating a framing solution for their art. This role involves driving custom framing sales and assisting customers in creating memorable framing solutions. The Lead Framer will assist the Store Manager in managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and requirements, and executing Company policies and standards. The position requires holding the team accountable for store conditions and results, developing and coaching team selling behaviors, and delivering high-quality custom framing solutions on time.

  • Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Ensure execution of Company policies and standards.
  • Hold team accountable for store conditions and results.

  • Participate in the truck unload and stocking processes.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure a safe environment.
  • Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes.

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous custom framing experience.
  • Retail management experience.
