About The Position

The Framer is responsible for the safe and efficient construction of wood frames used in furniture manufacturing. Working under the supervision of the Woodshop Supervisor or Lead, the Framer uses various hand and power tools to assemble components. This full-time role requires flexibility for overtime based on production needs.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including staple guns.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible to adapt to changing schedules and production demands.
  • Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments.
  • Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and use PPE.
  • Able to read diagrams, drawings, and tape measures accurately.
  • Ability to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive hardwood or chipboard components from the machine operator.
  • Read style diagrams and SKUs to guide accurate frame assembly.
  • Use hand tools and staple guns for extended periods.
  • Identify and report defective parts.
  • Sort and organize wood components for efficient frame assembly.
  • Perform quality checks on completed frames.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
