About The Position

Join Custom Wood Products as a Frameless Cabinet Maker & Installation in our Maple Hill, KS facility. In this role you will assist in the creation of custom frameless wood cabinets following the shop drawings in various stages of the project, and assist in frameless cabinet installations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to operate woodworking machinery, equipment and hand tools
• Ability to read/interpret shop drawings, and utilize and read tape measure
• Ability to lift large cabinets with assistance
• Must have keen eye for detail and producing high quality products (free of defects/errors)

Responsibilities

• Machines parts, sands, edge bands, and assembles cabinets for safe and purposeful use.
• Operates woodworking machinery and hand tools to include table saws, drivers, drill presses, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and other wood-fastening equipment.
• Reads and interprets shop drawings
• Prepares and loads cabinets to next phase in production.
• Operates shop computers and software.
• Adheres to safety protocols and conducts work in safe manner.
• Assists with frameless cabinet installations.
• All other duties as assigned.
