About The Position

This position builds quality frame components required for the upholstery assembly process. These sub-components are delivered to the upholstery assembly process to produce upholstered furniture.

Requirements

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Basic math knowledge
  • Achieve performance standards
  • Maintain PIV license as needed

Responsibilities

  • Obtains work order to determine frame style and quantity
  • Retrieves sub-assemblies and parts from storage locations
  • Assembles components using glue, dowels, staples, and air clamps
  • Set-up clamps correctly and check frames to assure they are in square, and angles are correct
  • Inspects and check frames for compliance to quality standards
  • Delivers frames to temporary storage for next operations
  • Follows health and safety standards.
  • Maintains a clean workstation and production floor
  • Performs other tasks as assigned
