About The Position

SENTRYSIX International, LLC is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fractional Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to lead and execute strategic growth initiatives across the organization. This executive will play a critical role in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within the federal government contracting sector and commercial security services market. The Fractional CGO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, strengthening client relationships, and positioning the company for long-term success in highly competitive and mission-critical environments. This role is ideal for a seasoned business development executive with a proven track record of winning contracts, building pipelines, and scaling organizations in the government services, national security, public safety, or commercial security sectors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in business development, growth strategy, or capture management
  • Demonstrated success securing contracts or generating revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of business development lifecycle and pipeline management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to operate independently and deliver results in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience in federal government contracting and/or commercial security services
  • Prior experience serving as a Chief Growth Officer, Vice President of Business Development, Capture Manager, or similar senior leadership role
  • Experience with federal procurement processes, contract vehicles, and competitive proposals
  • Established network of industry and government relationships
  • Experience supporting organizations in public safety, national security, emergency management, or risk management sectors
  • Familiarity with small business growth strategies and scaling operations
  • Experience supporting companies pursuing multi-state or national expansion

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy aligned with organizational objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in federal, state, local, and commercial markets
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Lead capture strategies for targeted contracts and strategic pursuits
  • Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing relationships
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to support executive decision-making
  • Identify and track relevant federal contract opportunities and procurement vehicles
  • Lead capture planning, teaming strategies, and win strategies for competitive procurements
  • Support development of proposals, pricing strategies, and technical solutions
  • Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, contracting officers, and industry partners
  • Provide guidance on contract positioning, compliance, and procurement readiness
  • Support participation in industry days, conferences, and networking events
  • Identify opportunities to expand commercial security, risk management, and protective services offerings
  • Develop partnerships with corporate clients, infrastructure operators, and private-sector organizations
  • Support development of service offerings tailored to emerging security risks and market demands
  • Drive regional and national expansion strategies for commercial service delivery
  • Strengthen brand presence and market positioning in the commercial security sector
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and teaming arrangements
  • Expand the company’s presence in new geographic and operational markets
  • Support entry into new service lines or mission areas
  • Evaluate potential acquisitions, partnerships, or strategic alliances
  • Provide leadership on market diversification and growth planning
  • Establish measurable growth targets and performance metrics
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on pipeline status, opportunities, and forecasts
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue growth and business development
  • Ensure alignment between growth initiatives and operational capacity
