About The Position

The Frac Fuel Technician reports to the Frac Fuel Manager, and is responsible for the fueling of Frac Machinery on the job site. The incumbent must complete fueling in a timely, safe, and consistent manner that adheres to both Company, and job site, policies and procedures. The primary job functions include, but are not limited to: Following all Company policy and instructions to ensure safety and satisfactory job performance Assisting the driver complete proper pre and post trip truck and trailer inspections Proper loading and unloading of fuels; handling, hooking, and unhooking hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading, both on and off the truck Safely use pipe, wrenches, crescent wrenches, hammers, and other hand tools Keeping accurate records of fuel inventory in equipment and trucks Safety in performing all aspects of job (fuel spills or accidents are not acceptable) Responsible for keeping trucks clean (inside and out) and organized Responsible for wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when on duty and at all job sites Provide excellent customer service Courteously work with bosses, dispatchers, fellow employees and customers Maintain a good work ethic, dedication to job, and a positive attitude Any other tasks or duties as assigned by Management or Supervisor

Requirements

  • Ability to work long hours (8 hour days + overtime)
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to follow both written and oral instructions
  • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
  • Ability to travel to various locations
  • Ability to be away from home for up to three (3) weeks at a time
  • Must successfully complete background and criminal history checks
  • Must pass a physical, human performance evaluation and a drug test
  • Good understanding of and adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Attitude that supports the Company’s goals and values
  • Must maintain regular and prompt attendance
  • Adherence to all Company policies and procedures
  • Class C drivers license

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
