As one of the world’s largest market makers, Susquehanna was one of the first high frequency trading firms to pioneer the use of hardware-accelerated trading systems. As an FPGA Engineer at Susquehanna, you will sit at the cusp of hardware and trading and help us as we continue to build some of the industry’s most cutting edge ultra-low latency trading environments. At Susquehanna, we don’t believe in silos. We believe that people do their best work when they have the freedom to explore, experiment, and collaborate with other brilliant minds. As part of our FPGA team, you will be trusted to own your hardware solutions from end to end. You will partner closely with our Strategy Developers and Quantitative Researchers to translate complex trading problems into scalable and highly performant hardware solutions. Our FPGA Engineers are heavily involved in FPGA architecture, design, simulation, and testing. The work that they do makes a direct impact on our trading business whether that’s working on larger, strategic projects, or smaller projects with very short design cycles! Prior experience in trading or finance is helpful, but not required. We love talented FPGA Engineers who come from all different backgrounds! If you enjoy tackling performance intensive challenges and want to help evolve the way the industry uses FPGAs, we encourage you to apply!
