About The Position

Get SAT is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and self-motivated FPGA engineer to be part of the R&D of multidisciplinary Satcom systems. The role requires an innovative person who can think out of the box, deal with daily and complex challenges. You will be required to see the big picture, take part in strategy definition and be responsible for high quality Client products.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of proven experience in board design
• Experience in design and schematics of complex digital circuits with FPGAs, MCU, and communication interfaces
• Experience in the design, simulation, and layout consideration of mixed signal circuits
• Hands-on experience in board bring-up and debugging issues
• Experience running manual and automated testing and fuzzing tools
• Wiring and cabling capabilities
• Experience in VHDL and Verilog - an advantage
• Knowledge in SoC architecture and networking protocols - an advantage

Responsibilities

• Designing the architecture and data flow of systems built on SoCs that combine embedded processors with FPGA logic
• Integration of soft-core controllers and peripheral IP blocks as part of FPGA system architecture
• Transition of system functionality from software to FPGA logic for performance optimization
• Hands on with FPGA debug methodologies, such as ChipScope, SignalTap or others
• Hands on experience with electronic test and measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes and logic analysers
• Experience with verification methodologies, RTL and gate level simulations and debug
• Experience debugging silicon and PCB issues
