As an FPGA / Embedded Applications Systems Engineer (Adv Systems Eng) for Undersea Maritime Systems, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for product design from system architecture and requirements allocation and design qualification for FPGA and Embedded Software Applications. Development of embedded application design details, including functional block diagrams, state and data flow diagrams, ICDs and IDDs. Development and execution of embedded application unit cases and resulting OQE. Electrical/Optical system design, including requirement allocation and decomposition. Requirements Lifecycle Management.

Product design from system architecture and requirements allocation.
Design qualification for FPGA and Embedded Software Applications.
Development of embedded application design details, including functional block diagrams, state and data flow diagrams, ICDs and IDDs.
Development and execution of embedded application unit cases and resulting OQE.
Electrical/Optical system design, including requirement allocation and decomposition.
Requirements Lifecycle Management.

Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Design and Qualification of electrical systems.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Design and Qualification of Optical Systems.
Minimum 5 years of experience in new product development and transition to manufacturing.

Master's Degree.
Agile experience.
Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards.
Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools.
Creative thinker with ability to grasp and new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity.
Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success.
Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams as needed to define and refine FPGA and embedded software design requirements.
