The FPGA Design Engineer will develop, design, verify, and document Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) development and will determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation. Assignments include the analysis of all aspects from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power utilization. Typically uses specialized equipment to establish operation data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

  • Develop, design, verify, and document Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA).
  • Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
  • Analyze all aspects from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power utilization.
  • Use specialized equipment to establish operation data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
  • Bachelor of science degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics Degree or Equivalent.
  • FPGA programming using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
  • Familiarity with Xilinx (AMD) & Altera (Intel) tool suites.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
  • A working knowledge of basic electronic measurement equipment.
