About The Position

Are you a high performing analytical and collaborative individual with a love for pets? Nulo is seeking a talented FP&A analyst to join our finance team. This role is within the Finance department and will provide support on the monthly financial close process, monthly and quarterly reporting to investors, monitoring and analyzing gross margins by product and channel as well as product pricing. This position would play a key role in developing and monitoring key KPIs across our channels and products and identifying areas for improvement for business success. This is an opportunity to make a high impact and influence strategic decision making on senior level finance executives.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in accounting, finance or financial modelling and analysis.
• Analytical mindset with superb communication and presentation skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Intellectually curious and ability to problem solve.
• Outstanding work ethic, demonstrating dedication and persistence in achieving results.
• Proficient in Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred knowledge of Netsuite.
• CPG experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the accounting team during the month end close in preparing and posting journal entries related to COGS, fixed assets, leases, and other GL accounts.
• Assist with month-end close tasks including account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of our monthly financial results reporting and analysis to provide senior leadership with insights on variances, trends, and potential risks and opportunities.
• Analyze performance at both the segment and consolidated level.
• Support management in the production of presentations for internal and external stakeholders including our BOD and investors.
• Assist with developing pricing for new products, complete competitive pricing analysis, and analyze the impact of tariffs.
• Evaluate a range of potential strategic and operational cases for impact on our consolidated financials, for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Support deep dives and initiatives across the P&L to improve financial results.
