About The Position

FP Movement is looking for a Product Merchandiser to drive the growth of the wholesale business.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in buying, sales, planning, or merchandising
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Organized, flexible, accountable and self-motivated
  • Passion and eye for product

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the liaison between omni buyers, sales, and planning to ensure we deliver an assortment that continues to expand our customer reach within the wholesale channel.
  • Preseason Line Development: Partner with planning, buying and sales teams to develop omni seasonal line plans that support account needs taking into account history, trend, brand initiatives, white space growth and account needs.
  • Work with buying, design and product development to build an assortment that fulfills lineplan needs and hits sales and IMU targets.
  • Ensure we offer a differentiated assortment with unique go to market product strategies for our different account types.
  • Work with buying and planning to determine account offering for styles within the range and assign unit ranking and intent to buy.
  • Work with buying, color team, and wholesale visual team to pre-color the line into compelling outfitting and trend stories.
  • Manage the go to market strategy front to back o Go To Market Tool Maintenance o Prepare Sales Team to Go To Market by Creating A Strong Preshow and Ensuring All Selling Tools are Updated o Prepare and Attend Market Appointments
  • Maximize Inventory Effectively Based on Market Appointments o Review account feedback and projected buys to strategically adjust buys to maximize profitability o Ensure all account exclusives and adjustments are actioned on working with buying, planning and sourcing to adjust as needed.
  • In Season: Ensure sales are maximized both in season and for future seasons o Review weekly sales recaps by channel, region, season, color, and category – incorporate key learnings into future product strategies and communicate OTS opportunities o Act as reference point for sales offices regarding product details, calendar, and deliveries o Manage to the Monthly Sales Forecasts: ▪ Work with buying and sales to ensure all styles needed to hit sales for each account are managed ▪ Partner with planning and sales to ensure forecast and inventory are managed in advance of OTB
  • Manage Calendar, Process and Projects: o Ensure all calendar deliverables are happening on time and in a thorough and complete manner. o Manage off-calendar product requests, exclusives, and collaborations working to bring them to fruition. o Attend Monthly Style Review meetings, Buyroll meetings, OTB, Buy Reviews, Pre-show, and market appointments
