We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Lead with strong expertise infinancial oversight, budget management, and vendor relations to overseeour IT organization's financial operations within the insurance sector. Theideal candidate will ensure optimal allocation of IT financial resources,implement robust cost control measures, and provide strategic financialguidance to support IT initiatives that align with business objectives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in financial management within ITorganizations, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Strong understanding of IT financial management principles,budgeting methodologies, and vendor management practices
  • Proven track record in cost optimization and financial analysis fortechnology investments
  • Experience with financial management systems and IT financialreporting toolsAWAC: 56151.1
  • Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrated success in vendorcontract management
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing financeteams in complex organizations
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial managementsoftware
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, BusinessAdministration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive IT budgets, includingforecasting, allocation, and tracking of expenditures across all ITdepartments
  • Oversee vendor management processes including contractnegotiations, SLA monitoring, and cost optimization strategies forIT service providers
  • Implement financial controls and governance frameworks toensure compliance with corporate financial policies and regulatoryrequirements
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify cost -savingopportunities, optimize IT spending, and maximize return ontechnology investments
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and dashboards forexecutive leadership, highlighting budget variances and financialperformance metrics
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to develop financial strategies thatsupport technology roadmaps and digital transformation initiatives
  • Lead financial planning for IT capital expenditures andoperational expenses, ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Manage procurement processes for IT assets and services,ensuring best value and compliance with organizational policies
  • Develop and maintain financial risk management strategies for ITinvestments and vendor relationships
