FP&A Lead / Strategic Finance

Weâre seeking a highly analytical, execution-focused FP&A Manager to join our lean, high-impact finance team at AnySignal. In this role, you will own financial planning, reporting, and visibility across a rapidly scaling company operating in complex, capital-intensive environments. Youâll lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes that enable fast, confident decisions by our leadership team and Board of Directors. This is not a âsit-back-and-reportâ role â you will build systems, models, and processes from the ground up. Weâre looking for someone who can dive deep, operate with incomplete information, and help shape the financial backbone of a company scaling quickly with increasing operational and reporting complexity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance, or similar roles
- Experience in hardware, manufacturing, aerospace/defense, or high-growth startups strongly preferred
- Advanced financial modeling skills and strong command of Excel (or Google Sheets); experience with ERP and BI tools strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience working with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, gather inputs, pressure-test assumptions, and drive clarity
- High level of ownership, urgency, and comfort operating in a fast-changing environment
- Ability to distill complex technical and financial information into clear, actionable insights for leadership

- Experience supporting investor and board-level reporting
- Exposure to early-stage or scaling operational environments
- Experience improving financial systems, data quality, and reporting infrastructure
- Interest in working on in the space and defense sector on technically complex products and long-term strategic programs
Responsibilities
- Own the company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Redesign, build, refine, and maintain detailed financial models, including: Long-term projections, Annual operating budgets, Budget vs. actual analysis, and Scenario & sensitivity modeling
- Manage monthly and quarterly performance reviews, variance analysis, and reporting for leadership
- Prepare and support monthly and quarterly reporting for: Executive leadership, Board of Directors, and Investors
- Develop, track, and maintain KPIs and dashboards used by leadership and the board
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, engineering, operations, supply chain and other teams to track: Spend vs. plan, Headcount forecasts, Program and project budgets and Capital allocation decisions
- Actively support and drive NetSuite enhancements to improve data quality, structure, and reporting reliability
- Design and implement scalable FP&A tools, dashboards, and processes as the company grows
- Serve as a thought partner to leadership on strategic initiatives, trade studies, and business decisions
- Help lay the foundation for a scalable FP&A function as AnySignal continues to grow
