About The Position

Repsol Renewables North America (RRNA) is seeking a Manager within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role will serve primarily as a finance lead between Repsol and a JV partner (external operator and construction manager) managing the financial operations of renewable energy projects, The role manages all joint venture financial administration, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, procurement-to-pay oversight, treasury activities, and external financing compliance. As Repsol’s internal project controller and financial lead, you will ensure that operational and construction activities from the external operator are accurately reflected in Repsol’s financial systems and are compliant with JV governance, internal controls, and financing agreements. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, project controls, project finance, or JV financial administration.
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across internal teams and external partners.
  • High documentation discipline with a strong internal-controls mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in renewable energy development, power markets, or infrastructure finance.
  • Familiarity with joint venture governance and external financial reporting structures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting partner-driven, multi-stakeholder financial processes preferred.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ERP systems, including finance and procurement modules.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Repsol’s primary day‑to‑day finance contact for the joint venture managing all financial administration requirements, including cost tracking, financial reporting, and coordination of financial and operational data between Repsol and the Joint Venture partner operator.
  • Coordinate and support the end-to-end procure‑to-pay process between the external operator and Repsol.
  • Review, validate, and support processing of invoices for approval, ensuring proper recording and ensuring approvals per DOA and joint approval thresholds.
  • Lead monthly reporting processes, including actuals vs. budget variance analysis, forecast updates and scenario planning and cost tracking and reconciliation.
  • Serve as the primary interface with external lenders, tax equity partners, and financing advisers for project level reporting, compliance, and deliverables. -level reporting, compliance, and deliverables.
