About The Position

The FP&A Intern will support the Finance team with reporting, analysis, and forecasting activities. During a 6–10 week internship, this role will help prepare weekly/monthly dashboards, perform basic variance analysis, and build/maintain Excel templates to improve visibility into sales, gross margin, and discretionary spend. Requirements

  • Interest in FP&A, forecasting, and business performance.
  • Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, financial modeling); Power BI, SQL, or Python familiarity is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with data and checking for accuracy/detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; able to summarize findings succinctly.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Support weekly/monthly reporting (refresh data, validate inputs, and publish a clean dashboard).
  • Support the implementation and ongoing cadence of monthly reporting, with analysis across: Sales by customer and collection, gross profit performance and drivers, and discretionary spend trends.
  • Perform monthly actuals vs. plan/forecast variance analysis and support development of forward-looking forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the Data & Systems team to support development of a scalable data warehouse and centralized reporting environment.
  • Support creation, enhancement, and maintenance of monthly reporting including customer P&Ls, collection P&Ls, and shipment forecasting.
  • Assist in building and maintaining templates to track discretionary spending, enabling visibility, accountability, and improved spend discipline.
  • Conduct financial assessments of innovation projects, including P&L modeling, profitability evaluation, and scenario analysis.
