About The Position

We are looking for a Summer Intern to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This position reports to the Sr. FP&A Analyst, working closely with the rest of the Finance team and various other teams across the company. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who possesses a basic financial acumen, be proactive and enthusiastic as they dig into data and trends, and have a desire to understand business operations in the AdTech industry.

Requirements

  • Understands general accounting and financial management
  • Someone who has a collaborative, positive approach to problem solving
  • Current Undergraduate or Graduate studying Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • Demonstrated ability with manipulating data to calculate digestible outputs with excel/g-sheet formatting best practices
  • Possess the ability to complete projects with autonomy
  • Core Excel skills with formula efficiency, pivot tables, and data management; understanding financial modeling is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high emotional intelligence
  • Experience with working with large sets of data, with a general interest in data integrity and data best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce, and Tableau are a plus
  • Experience in digital advertising and technology companies is preferred
  • Knowledge of programmatic environments, SSPs/DSPs, and how digital media is transacted is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide support with revenue and expense forecasting and analysis
  • Assist with Month End or Quarter End financial reporting and data validation
  • Maintain Advertiser hierarchy and Industry mapping for dashboard analyses, providing insight on various trends that will help future business decisions
  • Set up Tableau reports using multiple data sources to support typical ad hoc requests or to create long term reporting to provide recommendations and proposals for both Finance and other DV teams
  • Track vendor activity for cost analysis purposes, assist in the budget model refresh, and analyze spend drivers while improving the operational efficiency of the model
  • Strive to learn and improve processes, build documentation of procedures, and take on other duties as needed to support the FP&A team
