Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial management, analysis, or a similar role
Proven experience providing financial, strategic, and business operations support to senior business leaders
SQL: Strong proficiency for querying and managing databases
Power BI: Advanced knowledge and experience creating interactive dashboards and visualizations
Excel: Advanced skills including pivot tables, nested formulas, and error-proof logic
Database Technologies: Familiarity with data warehousing and ERP systems
Strategic Thinking: Ability to see beyond the numbers and identify trends, opportunities, and strategic implications
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Analytical Prowess: Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with attention to detail
Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations and ability to translate financial data into business insights
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

Data Collection: Gather raw data from internal databases, ERPs, and third-party sources to support financial analysis.
Data Cleaning & Preprocessing: Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and missing values to ensure data integrity. Ensure consistency and accuracy across financial systems and proactively troubleshoot discrepancies
Data Analysis: Apply analytical techniques to interpret datasets, focusing on trends that impact financial and operational decisions.
Reporting & Visualization: Create dashboards, charts, and reports using Power BI and communicate insights clearly.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored, data-driven recommendations.
Automation: Automate recurring reports and build scalable frameworks for spend tracking, headcount planning, and resource allocation.
Database Management: Design and maintain data systems for efficient retrieval and performance optimization.
Problem-Solving: Use a logical, analytical mindset to address business challenges and uncover opportunities for improvement.
