We are excited to hire an FP&A Analyst! This role will be responsible for assisting in the financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis for the Denver Broncos and Stadium Management Company.

  • Conduct a thorough review of monthly actuals compared to the budget, documenting and explaining significant discrepancies with input from respective department heads.
  • Prepare financial statements and related schedules for the quarterly financial package, including rolling projections based on identified variances.
  • Prepare annual budget summary reports, critical review of cost centers and revenue generating activities, and reviewing budget submissions in collaboration with department heads.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and associated support schedules.
  • Complete periodic compliance reporting and tax filings.
  • Develop and deliver ad-hoc financial reports and models tailored to the needs of the business and management.
  • Identify potential opportunities for further analysis, conduct financial analyses or projections, and offer recommendations and insights.
  • Maintain data warehouse to ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Contribute to training and assisting end users on budgeting software.
  • Process reclassifications and account requests as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • 2-5 years' experience in FP&A, auditing, investment banking, or management consulting.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and concepts, including financial reporting, modeling, and budgeting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Database, query writing, data gathering, and data analytics skills.
  • Proficiency in Tableau or other data related visualization tools.
  • Experience with AI integration into financial analysis.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Great Plains, Solver, Concur or other comparable tools.
  • Prior sports or related experience.
  • Salary range of $74,000 - $82,000.
  • Flexible working hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
