Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Education or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Teach core academic subjects, including Math, Language Arts, and Social Studies using developmentally appropriate and engaging instructional strategies
  • Plan and implement lessons that align with curriculum standards and grade-level goals
  • Create a positive, structured classroom environment with clear expectations for student learning and behavior
  • Work collaboratively with the Fourth Grade team to ensure consistency and alignment across the grade level
  • Partner with co-curricular teachers to support cross-curricular learning experiences
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with students, parents, and the Division Head regarding academic progress and student well-being
  • Participate in divisional chapel services, supervisory duties (including recess and carpool), and other school activities as assigned
  • Attend grade-level, department, division, and faculty meetings as required
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful classroom environment that supports students and families of diverse backgrounds
