The YMCA of the Pikes Peak region is looking to recruit a Pool Manager to oversee the staff and ensure the safety of visitors to our aquatic facilities. The Pool Manager will ensure quality performance of all aquatic safety assistants and all lifeguards. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the direction of the Aquatic Director, this position is responsible for the welfare of all members utilizing the pools and adjacent areas. The Pool Manager ensures an atmosphere of discipline, friendliness, and safety within the framework of YMCA of the Pikes Peak Regions Aquatics programs. They must present themselves in an exemplary manner and have a positive, enthusiastic attitude about the YMCA. The Pool Manager will directly oversee Lifeguards, Shift Supervisors, Swim Instructors, and Check-In staff to ensure the daily operations of the pool facilities run smoothly and efficiently. The Pool Manager is the front-line aquatics leadership who ensures we provide safe, clean, family friendly aquatic facilities for YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region members, their guests, and visitors to swim, play, and have fun.
