About The Position

The fountain operator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the preparation of associated fountain products. This role involves ensuring that all fountain products are prepared to order within a specified time frame, adhering to company specifications and standards.

Requirements

• Good vision, both general and close.
• Good hearing ability.
• Manual dexterity for handling equipment and products.
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to push and pull heavy objects.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Maintain good personal hygiene and adhere to uniform standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all fountain products to order within 5-8 minutes according to Steak n Shake specifications.
• Utilize equipment such as the multi-mixer, CRT, ice cream spade, and correct dippers.
• Monitor equipment temperatures to ensure proper functioning.
• Restock and clean/sanitize the fountain area.
• Maintain security, safety, uniform, and company standards at all times.
• Perform any and all other tasks assigned.
