About The Position

This position involves delivering and installing vending and fountain equipment, requiring physical strength and mechanical knowledge. The role includes loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing installations, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries and repairs. The technician will also educate customers on equipment maintenance and establish positive relationships with them.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age (21 or older if CDL required).
• CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable).
• Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test (if applicable).
• Follow DOT regulations.

• Working with mechanical systems (e.g., troubleshooting and repairing appliances).
• Generating and setting work schedules.
• Operating trucks requiring a CDL Class B license.
• Serving customers and resolving customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load new and used vending or fountain equipment for daily delivery.
• Install vending machines and load/reload them with products as necessary.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending/fountain equipment.
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures.
• Collect accurate and complete equipment information.
• Maintain parts, tools, and equipment.
• Follow DOT regulations.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate customer/work order records for each delivery.
• Transport miscellaneous items such as compressors for repair/scrap, cardboard for recycling, etc.
• Fill, install, and adjust to proper mix of product.
• Establish positive customer relationships.
• Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
