About The Position
This position is responsible for delivering and installing vending and fountain equipment as needed. The role involves using lifting equipment to load, unload, and move large fountain machines and units at customer accounts. The employee will prepare equipment for delivery and maintain all paperwork associated with equipment installation and removal. The installation of fountain beverage systems will be performed from start to finish, ensuring that all systems are operational and meet customer specifications. Additionally, the position may require assistance with moving, storing, and organizing equipment in inventory at the facility. The job requires significant physical effort, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving vending and fountain machines that weigh approximately 800-1200 pounds multiple times over a 10-12 hour period. The employee will be expected to establish positive relationships with customers, ensuring reliable and predictable attendance. The primary accountabilities include unloading and loading new and used vending or fountain equipment for daily delivery, installing vending machines and loading/reloading them with products as necessary, performing repairs and preventative maintenance on vending and fountain equipment, and educating customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures. The employee will also be responsible for collecting accurate and complete equipment information, maintaining parts, tools, and equipment, following DOT regulations, completing required paperwork, and transporting miscellaneous items such as compressors for repair or recycling.
