About The Position
This position is responsible for delivering and installing vending and fountain equipment as needed. The role involves using lifting equipment to load, unload, and move large fountain machines and units at customer accounts. The employee will prepare equipment for delivery and maintain all paperwork associated with equipment installation and removal. The installation of fountain beverage systems will be performed from start to finish, ensuring that all aspects of the installation process are completed efficiently and effectively. Additionally, the position may require assistance with moving, storing, and organizing equipment in inventory at the facility. The job requires significant physical effort, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving vending and fountain machines that weigh approximately 800-1200 pounds multiple times over a 10-12 hour period. This physical demand is a critical aspect of the role, and employees must be prepared for the strenuous nature of the work. The position also emphasizes the importance of establishing positive customer relationships and maintaining regular, reliable, and predictable attendance. In addition to the physical tasks, the employee will be responsible for unloading and loading new and used vending or fountain equipment for daily delivery, installing vending machines, and performing repairs and preventative maintenance on the equipment. Educating customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures is also a key responsibility, along with collecting accurate and complete equipment information and maintaining parts, tools, and equipment. Following DOT regulations and completing required paperwork to maintain accurate customer and work order records for each delivery are essential duties of this position.
