Requirements

• Proven math, reading, and computer skills.
• Ability to receive and execute written or verbal instruction.
• Experience with labor intensive work.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Follow specified work instructions and/or engineering parts drawings to produce a wide variety of products.
• Be responsible for the quality of your work, which includes accurate counts and meeting production standards.
• Continually look for ways to improve our production processes.
• Read and understand production schedule and set up pouring ends accordingly.
• Pour various metal types correctly and safely.
• Operate all equipment necessary for the effective flow of materials through the department.
• Use all tools properly, including but not limited to manual ladles/ratchets, slag skimmers and temperature lances.
• Push carts onto skip hoist.
• Knock out castings from sand molds.
• Follow applicable ISO procedures.
• Keep work area clean and in order.
• Follow all company safety procedure and guidelines.
• Report malfunction of equipment and process deviations to appropriate personnel.
