Requirements
- Read and perform basic math functions to determine mold specifications, production counts, work-in-process, and product specifications
- Follow written and pictorial standard work instructions
- Communicate clearly and effectively with others
- Complete quality and safety checks
Nice To Haves
- Operation of a variety of material handling equipment such as Bobcat, Forklift, Yard Truck, Sweeper
- Operation of overhead cranes and hoists to move material such as molten metal, slag and refractory containers, furnace components and other equipment weighing from 2 to 10 tons
Responsibilities
- Processing quality cast iron parts used to create Hearth & Home Technologies' industry-leading fireplaces, stoves and hearth products.
- Minimizing bad parts by proper cleaning, identification, inspection, and repair of cosmetic flaws.
