About The Position
Garage is a marketplace for specialized vehicles and equipment, starting with emergency vehicles. By automating every part of the transaction—including payments, freight, paperwork, warranty, and financing—we reduce what used to take months down to minutes. We're building the modern platform that powers commerce across America’s essential industries. We recently closed a $13.5M Series A ($18M in total funding) from Infinity Ventures, Y Combinator, Initialized Capital, FJ Labs, and other top investors. In less than a year, our team has already served customers in all 50 states – and we’re just getting started. As Founding Recruiter, you will be the right hand to the CEO and CTO in building the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience recruiting at a startup, with a track record of progression and expanding scope
- Exceptional organization skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments, and proactively takes on tasks
- Loves the energy of a high-growth environment where every day looks a little different
- You have good judgement, high integrity, and a bias towards action
Responsibilities
- Own the full cycle of attracting top-tier talent to our team across functions
- Implement analytics to track and optimize performance across the hiring funnel
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and build effective recruiting strategies
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent from diverse backgrounds, building strong talent pipelines for future hiring needs
- Champion Garage’s mission and values in the talent market, positioning us an employer of choice
- Continuously refine and enhance our recruitment processes, leveraging data-driven insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness
