About The Position

RetailPath is on a mission to improve the day-to-day of operations teams in the CPG space. Every day, billions of dollars of goods get shipped by wholesale brands, and every day, brands lose hundreds of millions of dollars to market inefficiencies. Our first product tackles retail shipping chargebacks; a major pain for operators. You’ll work directly with the founders, Maysam & Connor, to help take the product into the next chapter. We have strong early traction, funding, and office space in Chinatown, NYC. The Role Work at the intersection of product, engineering, and design to directly improve the live of our customers. If you only new the software that they have to deal with... there is a lot of opportunity! We ship fast. This role is designed for those who drive projects end to end, act as their own product manager, and ship high-quality code quickly. You have an understanding of business objectives and how to work cross functionally. In practical terms, you'll work across the stack, talk to our amazing customers like Barebells Protein bars and Bioderma to drive product decisions, and help shape product and engineering practices from the ground up. You should want to: Turn customer problems into product solutions Shape what RetailPath grows into Practically we look for: Experience solving ambiguous problems and scoping projects independently Early stage compatibility of moving fast and experimenting Incredible communicator and able to move from technical to high level depending on context Ability to design and complete projects end to end with minimal oversight Strong Python experience, ideally with FastAPI, unit testing, and CRUD patterns React is your friend(emy;) PostgreSQL (PSQL) proficiency Cloud experience with GCP or an equivalent provider Know how to wrangle LLMs to do your bidding It would be great if you had: Knowledge of retail logistics and related systems like EDI, ERPs, and 3PLs Design tools like Figma, v0, or similar are like a 3rd arm Know about web automation Have worked with ETL tooling and data workflows Maybe some iPaaS experience AI AI AI AI Business analysis experience Comfortable being customer facing All these are, as the title suggests, "great to have." Requirements
