We’re Hiring: Founding Product Designer. We’re looking for a Founding Product Designer who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’ll shape and elevate the user experience across our student and institution-facing products — making complex workflows simple, guiding design partners with clarity, and ensuring the product delivers impact at every touchpoint. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who’s motivated by thoughtful UX, rapid iteration, and scaling design systems in a high-growth environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in product design, with strong UX chops across both mobile and complex web products.
• Experience in early-stage or fast-scaling environments, balancing strategic design thinking with hands-on execution.
• Ability to make complex workflows simple, turning data-heavy or administrative tasks into intuitive experiences.
• Confidence in partnering with external design collaborators — guiding direction while rolling up your sleeves where needed.
• Clear communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders around design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive design strategy and execution across mobile and web, spanning both student and institution-facing products.
• Define the visual language, interaction models, and UX principles that guide how we build.
• Lead the creation and evolution of a unified design system that scales across our ecosystem.
• Translate complex, data-heavy workflows into elegant, intuitive experiences that instill confidence.
• Design and prototype features across mobile discovery tools, AI-guided experiences, and university workflows.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure our platform delivers clarity, trust, and impact.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to shape roadmaps and influence product direction.
• Champion a user-first mindset and elevate design culture across the company.
• Present design decisions with clarity to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
