We're winning deals against billion-dollar legacy payroll providers - and we're hiring a Founding Implementation Manager to onboard, implement, and launch new customers on Hammr's payroll & HR platform. You'll own the customer journey immediately post-sale: onboarding, migration, setup, training, running first payrolls, and ensuring customers are confident, compliant, and delighted. You'll work directly with the founding team, solve real customer workflows, and influence the future of our product and Launch/Success team.   • Onboard, implement, and launch new customers from kickoff → Go-Live
  • Improve our onboarding playbooks and define what “white-glove” means at scale
  • Be the trusted partner to contractors as they run their first payrolls
  • 3+ years launching payroll implementations for customers at ADP, Rippling, Deel, Paychex, Gusto, Paylocity, or similar
  • Strong understanding of payroll (taxes, PTO, deductions, job costing, etc.)
  • Ability to run first payrolls and validate accuracy
  • Comfort in gathering, cleaning, and migrating payroll & HR data
  • Excellent communication across Payroll Admins, HR, Accounting, Controllers, PMs
  • Strong project management & attention to detail
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment and ability to refine playbooks as you go
  • High ownership, proactivity, and a deep desire to help customers win
  • Familiar with prevailing wage, certified payroll, union, or multi-state payroll experience
  • Construction experience
  • Experience with Account or ERP systems
  • Ability to write onboarding playbooks, SOPs, and internal docs
  • Love solving complex workflows and compliance puzzles
  • Startup/early-stage experience (Series B or earlier)
