Requirements

• 5-7 years building and scaling infrastructure systems, with experience making architectural decisions that directly impact business outcomes.
• Proven track record of independently owning complex infrastructure projects from conception through production deployment.
• Systems thinking that balances immediate operational needs with long-term scalability requirements.
• Security mindset with experience implementing robust access controls and operational security practices.
• Excited to build infrastructure that realizes our mission of making family-run businesses more profitable and resilient.
• Comfortable taking ownership of ambiguous technical challenges and driving them to elegant solutions.

Nice To Haves

• Background in fintech, agricultural technology, or mission-driven companies.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Kubernetes, or similar cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, scalability, and security of infrastructure that powers financial operations for thousands of America’s family-run businesses.
• Drive technical strategy for infrastructure decisions that directly impact our ability to serve businesses during critical periods like tax season.
• Lead implementation of infrastructure as code, database migrations, and monitoring systems that enable our engineering team to deploy confidently.
• Enable product engineers to build features rapidly while maintaining the operational excellence that farmers depend on for their financial data.
