About The Position

As our Founding Forward Deployed Engineer at Anterior, you’ll operate at the intersection of engineering, enterprise sales, and our Frontier team and will join our most strategic deals early in the pipeline to help customers understand what’s possible and make confident technical decisions. You’ll partner directly with our GTM team to drive sales conversations forward, translate buyer requirements into actionable architecture, and ensure Anterior’s AI-powered solutions are positioned for real-world success. This role is ideal for engineers who want to define how to strategically work directly with enterprise customers and want to shape how transformational technology is adopted at scale. You’ll start engagements as a trusted technical advisor during diligence and evaluation, and stay involved through solution design, deployment, and beyond.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background with experience in software development and system architecture.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers and understanding their technical needs.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with deploying AI-powered systems and understanding of LLM technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in healthcare technology or related fields.
• Familiarity with clinical workflows and IT integration.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Embed early in the sales cycle, partnering with Account Executives and GTM leadership to drive strategic conversations with prospective enterprise customers.
• Lead solution design and technical implementation, working hands-on with customer stakeholders to map integration pathways, overcome technical blockers, and embed Anterior into clinical and IT workflows.
• Deploy LLM-powered systems into production environments, ensuring they meet customer requirements for performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Build reusable integration patterns and internal tools, improving how we deliver scalable solutions across customers.
• Drive implementations forward, working across customer engineering teams, Anterior product teams, and internal deployment leads to ensure smooth, successful launches.
