About The Position
You will join as a foundational member building AI agents that automate revenue-generating and cost-saving workflows for US food manufacturers. From developing RAG systems for product catalogues to building computer-use agents for complex compliance documents, you will touch every part of the stack and influence every major technical and product decision. High-impact founding role with 0.5%–2% equity, working directly with a team from Stanford, Instacart, and Bain to disrupt a massive $750B traditional industry. Backed by $1.8M from Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors and industry leaders at OpenAI and Instacart, providing both strong capital and deep domain expertise. Requirements
- A proven builder who has shipped real-world products and prioritizes shipping 80% solutions today over debating perfect architectures for weeks.
- Highly pragmatic engineer comfortable with a "boring" but effective stack (Kotlin, Postgres, GCP) and a deep desire to solve unsexy, high-value problems.
- Self-starter with an owner mindset who identifies gaps and fixes them without waiting for perfect requirements or explicit permission.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build end-to-end AI agents using Gemini and Anthropic to automate manual compliance and sales workflows.
- Develop robust backend systems using Kotlin and Spring Boot to ingest and process high volumes of data from legacy ERPs and CRMs.
- Own the full product lifecycle from initial discovery with food manufacturing executives to shipping production-ready features in React and NextJS.
