About The Position

At Granted, we’re building the one solution every American can turn to for help in navigating the complex and error-prone US healthcare system. Our goal is to empower all Americans to take charge of their healthcare by leveraging AI to fight claim denials, correct billing errors, negotiate bills, and simplify coverage understanding. As part of our team, you will tackle cutting-edge challenges in prompt engineering, language model optimization, and AI system evaluations, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams to shape and execute our technical roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience building and shipping software.
• Strong interest in exploring the frontier of AI, with a focus on prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and evaluating AI performance.
• Mission-driven and passionate about solving meaningful problems with real-world impact.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity, demonstrating autonomy and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Big-picture thinking with the ability to design pragmatic solutions for complex technical challenges.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• 10+ years of GPT-4 experience, or a good sense of humor.

Responsibilities

• Tackle cutting-edge challenges in prompt engineering, language model optimization, and AI system evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to shape and execute our technical roadmap.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable software systems, APIs, and AI-driven features.
• Create and optimize models to identify, categorize, and rectify errors in medical billing and insurance claims.
• Build interactive conversational agents and AI-driven user interfaces to simplify healthcare navigation for users.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to embed domain-specific healthcare insights into AI solutions.
