About The Position

Phareyes is a selective program for exceptional early careers who feel a real compulsion to build. Sometimes the hardest part is just starting. Most people this age are pushed toward the same path: internships, credentials, optionality, and the safe next step. That makes sense for most people. But not for everyone. Some people keep coming back to the same problem, question, or frustration. They are not mainly looking for another credential. They want to start real work. Phareyes is for that moment. You do not need a company already. You do not need a co-founder. You do not need a polished pitch deck. You do not need the whole path mapped out. What matters is whether there is something you cannot leave alone — and whether you are serious enough to begin making it real. This is for people who would rather begin important work than drift further into the default path. Selected participants join a small, serious cohort with: a strong peer environment founder and problem refinement strategic review and honest feedback challenge, structure, and accountability thoughtful support around co-founder formation where relevant introductions and access where genuinely deserved For a small number of standout founders, Phareyes may also help unlock funding of up to $100,000 if the work becomes investable. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. This is a chance to step off the default path and start working on something that might actually matter.

Requirements

  • keep returning to a problem or question that will not leave you alone
  • want to build, not just talk about building
  • can tolerate uncertainty, difficulty, and long stretches without recognition
  • are highly self-directed and do not need to be managed closely
  • have real depth in something technical, scientific, product, commercial, or domain-specific
  • care more about doing important work than looking impressive
