About The Position

The Foundations & Endowments Specialty Practice (FESP) Investment Associate 2 provides support to Foundations & Endowments senior investment leaders in developing and producing analytic and client reporting materials, team best-thinking investment solutions, thought leadership materials, and customized client investment policy solutions. May develop into client facing role depending upon practice resource needs and demonstrated success in communicating effectively regarding investment and client-related topics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6 or more years of investment or relevant business experience
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), analytic and quantitative reasoning skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Very strong organizational skills, detail-oriented with the ability to work on numerous tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment

Nice To Haves

  • Undergraduate degree in economics, finance, accounting or related field
  • Progress toward CFA or CIMA designation strongly preferred
  • Portfolio management of trust and investment management accounts

Responsibilities

  • Develop presentation capabilities that can be tuned to deliver audience-appropriate messaging
  • Creativity and ingenuity in developing and delivering key points of differentiation related to the portfolio characteristics and performance patterns and results
  • Eagerness to reach out to develop relationships beyond the formal meeting framework
  • Assist in the management and oversight of complex investment portfolios
  • Engage in face-to-face client interaction to strengthen relationships and communicate strategic positioning and investment outcomes
  • Conduct investment manager research and diligence
  • Provide bespoke analytic reporting and project experience
