About The Position

Suntec Concrete is seeking reliable, hardworking Foundation Tradesmen to join our growing construction team. This position supports foundation work on commercial and industrial projects, including layout verification, excavation, formwork, and concrete operations. This is a hands-on role that requires physical labor, outdoor work, and strict adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

Previous construction or general labor experience preferred
Foundation experience is a strong advantage
Ability to read and follow basic instructions, drawings, and layout information
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, bending, climbing, etc.)
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions, including overtime and Saturdays when required
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Must be onsite and ready to work 15 minutes before scheduled start time

Responsibilities

Assist with project setup, layout, and site preparation
Perform layout using Trimble equipment
Operate equipment as qualified (Backhoe, Track Hoe, Mini Excavator, Loader)
Check pad and footing elevations following excavation
Verify survey layout to ensure building squareness
Set anchor bolts, form footings, set masonry racks, and install embed plates per specifications
Assist with concrete placement, vibrating, and finishing operations
Perform caisson drilling and rigging of caisson rebar cages (certified riggers preferred)
Maintain jobsite cleanliness and organization
Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
Support skilled trades and supervision as needed
