About The Position

The Foundation Operations Specialist plays a central role in ensuring accurate, timely, and donor centered gift processing and data management for a hospital foundation serving patients, families, and the community. This position supports a 20 person development team by maintaining the integrity of the donor database, coordinating daily gift entry, and providing administrative support that strengthens fundraising operations, stewardship, and financial reconciliation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in finance and reconciliation or related field
• Experience with nonprofit donor databases (Raiser’s Edge preferred in many hospital foundations).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy development office.
• Excellent communication skills and a donor centered mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
• Data accuracy and quality control
• Confidentiality and professionalism
• Customer service and donor stewardship
• Process improvement and documentation
• Collaboration across a midsized team
• Adaptability in a healthcare environment
