The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time). Pay Range: $27.05 - $39.30 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Position Overview Manages daily gift processing, including receipt of contributions to ensure accurate and timely recording, acknowledgement and filing. Distributes Director’s Report to Foundation leadership, as needed and/or requested Accepts and records gifts in accordance with state and federal regulations, ensuring all gifts are allocated according to donor wishes. Records payroll deductions. Creates and produces template acknowledgement letters and gift receipts for direct mail, events and similar program initiatives. Generates pledge reminders. Assists in managing commemorative gifts acknowledgements and family or honoree notifications. Prepares mailing lists for publications, appeals, general mailings and events in collaboration with Foundation staff. Utilizes mail merge to generate labels, guest lists, invitation cards, letters and flyers; ensures timely and accurate preparation of bulk mail if requested. Assists with mailings as needed. Assists with receipt and review of OVPs and POs from CH programs requesting philanthropic support from funds managed and stewarded by Foundation. Maintains data for donor recognition programs (print listings, newsletters, donor walls, etc.) Documents and maintains policies and procedures relating to use of The Raiser's Edge database and related products such as Financial Edge and Donor Search. Protects confidentiality and integrity of the data. Creates, updates and maintains accurate constituent records; monitors activity of staff who submit information (e.g. relationships, moves, wealth information, gift and pledge information, history). Produces appropriate codes to identify appeals and mailings, constituent types, fund accounts, events, special identifications and other information Ensures accurate knowledge when recording and reporting complex gift types (i.e. calculating gift value of life insurance, appreciated securities, wills and trusts, property and other non-cash gifts, tax deductible amounts when good or services are exchanged, legal vs. soft gift credit). Creates wealth screening reports based on resources such as Donor Search. Analyzes data, sends to front-line fundraisers and enters or downloads information to donor database. Prepares reports and profiles as requested. Trains and assists Foundation staff who utilize Raiser’s Edge or related resources such as Donor Search. Knowledgeable about IRS requirements for receipting and substantiating all gift types. Performs monthly query checks, validates database, and runs duplicate constituent report check. Analyzes database to identify and implement solutions to existing problems, makes recommendations. Manages installation of The Raiser's Edge upgrades and additional Blackbaud software programs. Reads and comprehends accompanying documentation; prepares Foundation staff for impact of upgrades. Keeps current with database techniques and technology by monitoring Blackbaud user's Community and keeps pace with the latest advances and trends in database management. Conducts confidential prospect research and produces appropriate reports, briefings, and profiles for Foundation gift officers. Clears wealth screening data monthly; maintains rolling list of high-level prospects, including providers. Ensures that foundation data received from the system aligns with the Use and Disclosure administrative policy regarding Protected Health Information for Fundraising Purposes, in the review and use of said data for prospective relational acquisition. Processes and distributes daily incoming mail; records gifts of support on transmittal. Greets guests and visitors; offers help when appropriate. Answers telephones; provides information to callers and/or refers to appropriate staff or department. Produces table cards, name tags and registration sheets. Attends special events as requested to provide support for registration or other assignment. Assists with any and all other assignments and duties as requested on behalf of daily foundation operations. As a well-informed ambassador of Capital Health, complies with fundraising best practices and donor bill of rights.
