About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic Foundation Manager to lead the ScanSource Charitable Foundation in achieving its mission and vision. This role involves coordinating various aspects of the Foundation's operations, including planning, grant application and review processes, financial management, Board recruitment, and other assigned duties. The Foundation Manager will collaborate closely with the VP of Philanthropy and Community Engagement and the Foundation Board on large-scale programming and projects led by ScanSource.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Proven success in building partnerships and fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Strong financial and operational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing the Foundation's strategic plan in collaboration with the Board, VP of Philanthropy and Community Engagement, applicable ERG groups and additional key stakeholders.
  • Manage the Foundation's daily budget and finances with guidance from the Board.
  • Oversee a transparent and fair grants process, including communication, documentation, and award notifications.
  • Work independently with the ScanSource Charitable Foundation to support the organization, its members, and the community.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of the Foundation's funded grants and programs.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with the Corporate Communications team and VP of Philanthropy and Community Engagement to promote employee communication about the Foundation's mission, grants, impact, and ScanSource community programs.
